All Republicans + 1 Dem voted against the “No Whites Only” Bill. This story has been making some rounds on social media, and people are kind of missing the point based on the headline. The bill amended our housing discrimination protections to include bans on discrimination on the basis of “sexual orientation,” “gender identity,” and “gender expression.” That’s what the bill is about, not the stupid all-whites community in Arkansas. Also, we have an R majority in the PA Senate, so this won’t pass.
If people who want a place like that are willing to voluntarily quarantine themselves, who am I to get in the way? Hell, I’ll even help dig a moat around it if that prevents them from spreading their poison. Keep them in, cut off supplies, let nature do the rest.
