I am saying: why are you voting at all, when you keep being proven, election after election, that people that are not you, will never have your best interests in mind? You can vote Frank Liberati away, but your state’s transphobia/dead naming remains.
I am asking why do you believe voting for politician actually works in our favor?

It’s more so “will voting fix deadnaming, or will directly composting Frank Liberati do so?” @Archangel1313@lemmy.ca hasn’t realized they are prisoners to Nazis, and I am helping them realize they are stuck using Nazi tools for complacency. Instead of going directly to the source of the deadnaming.

You vote to keep people like this asshole from policy that negatively impacts people’s lives. Or, do you not care about who writes the laws in your area?

Must be nice, having the kind of privilege where you can just ignore all that, knowing that none of it affects you

Ah I see the problem you haven’t realized: who are these laws for? Politicians, yourselves, or some foreign entity? Why haven’t you questioned why policy makers live very different lives than you, and blatantly want to keep deadnaming us? Why don’t they just accept our new names, and carry on?

Must be nice, having the kind of privilege where you can just ignore all that, knowing that none of it affects you

If you have already realized this, then why are you not taking their privileges away from them, directly?

Do you think a pen is going to cease deadnaming?

Buddy, I’m talking about your privilege. Not “theirs”.

I don’t have privilege. I seize my means of liberation. My name is (✕⍯), and I refuse others to rename otherwise. Do you seize your means to be named how you desire?

                LARP name.

Is what nazis are calling chosen names now?

PleaseCX take a look at my bio before you proceed. I feel like you’re confusing who your enemy is.

I didn’t check your bio. I just assumed you were cosplaying as a revolutionary, based on your previous comments.

I don’t cosplay emancipatory explanations in a community for AmeriKKKa news. Do you perhaps cosplay politics at a poll booth?

      Because the other options are

      1. don’t vote and just complain
      2. violent revolution overthrowing the entire system.

So that’s why people keep voting in an obviously broken system.

Third first option that historically has succeeded:
        3. Free prisoners. 4. Dismantle fascist resources. 5. = 2.

people keep voting in an obviously broken system.

Being both aware why Americans are complacent on their fascist turn, they still dare wait longer.
