    And then maybe have daycare places where old people can earn money by taking care of kids. It would be a total win for everyone. The Grammies and gramps would get to talk to others who are really interested and you would need like one nurse care taker per like 100 kids. The nurse just goes around distributing meds and taking blood pressure readings. The place would just need air-conditioning and solar panels could make that free. An old highschool could be remodeled for that purpose.

    It would help so many parents and old people.

      As an Early Childhood Educator, that sounds terrifying. You need trained professionals not random old people.

      It’s not simply “taking care of kids”, it’s “educating children”. These are their most formative years, where they will learn more than the rest of their life combined. It should not be squandered by substandard education.

          And their skills are probably 50 years out of date. It does not work, it is not a solution.

          Just pay educators a decent wage that they can afford to work in the industry and provide care for the elderly. They can be separate solutions.
