That would have been super cool, but glad we got the BG2 we did.
Me too, although I would have preferred the original Imoen subplot compared to what we got.

That is canon for m’y playthrough as i Nevers managed to beat him. Im stuck at rhé las battle, getting m’y ass pulped.
I just replayed BG1 recently, now that I understand D&D way better than I did the first time around, and he was just as hard as the first time, probably because he exceeds the level cap for the player. Really it’s his goons that you have to worry about though, so you can cheese it with stuff like invisibility, speed potions, etc. to pick off his goons before you attack him directly.
Isn’t that the main plot? I ascended to the throne of murder after all
