I live in Australia and we regularly hit 40°C.
This year we hit, 42.9°C, last year 44.7°C, the highest on record was 46.7°C. In other words, it gets hot.
Why is over 30°C in the UK news worthy, what makes that more significant than when we hit 42.9 on a Monday?
They’re not acclimated to such high temps and the infrastructure isn’t prepared. They don’t have anywhere near the level of air conditioning to keep people cool. Record heat in the UK is deadly. And it’s caused by Climate Change. Certainly news worthy. Try pulling your head outta your ass.
Because it’s a record for the UK, this means temperatures are rising on a global scale.
Because when UK will hit 40° in may you’ll hit 50°.
Think positively. Ten years from now, this will be one of the coldest days in the past decade.
It’s almost like this global warming/climate change thing might actually be true. Who could have known?
Naw, I’m sure all the MAGA people are right, and it’s all just made up.
It’s not like these people are idiots, right?
Hottest day in May… so far.
307 Kelvin for the cold Carls out there.
