TL;DR: Thierry Henry is completely clowning Alexei Lalas in their joint post-match commentary. Humiliating Lalas is ridiculously easy. But of course King Henry is doing it with subtlety, class, and withering wit.

Alexi keeps getting play on Fox because he is one of a very small number prominently pro-Trump voices in soccer. There are so many better commentators they could put in there who had great careers with the US and/or in the United States – Ale Bedoya, Bill Hamid, Diego Valeri, heck I bet even Sam Mewis could learn the boys’ names in time – but they’re not white republican men. Watching Telemundo is much more enjoyable.
