I bet the entire perspective on women is still rooted in the Old Testament stuff. How the woman is made for him as a companion/mate. Her treachery. How women then need to suffer with childbirth. I bet to this day, this is what all of it is rooted in. And that’s why Abrahamic Religions all arrive at some form of misogyny. They also all struggle with homosexuality and a bunch of the same things, because they believe in the same God.
