Powerful people rely on a distorted version of reality to enable their greed, cruelty and narcissism. Those same people control these LLMs and will absolutely change them to reflect their own worldview rather than allow conclusions that don’t validate it. They require lies to justify their gratification and so they bury the truth 6 feet under to enable those fictions, denying reality so they can do what they feel like.
These LLMs are destined to become propaganda machines, digital brain washers of incalculable power. The choice of training material is part of the output. The training material used to train every LLMbeciles has always been basically white American first, European second, everybody else a distant third.
