Leave it to the CIA to brag about murder drones. Can’t say I am too excited for robots killing people.

I wouldn’t trust the CIA with them, but Ukraine needs every tool possible to counteract their numerical disadvantage against Russia.

All it takes is an altered payload and suddenly you are the target. You ever want to find out what its like to be a Yemeni child under the Obama regime?

I think it’s important to ensure that more Ukrainians don’t become victims of the Putin regime.

What do we do when we wake up?

Keep one eye on the sky

What do we do while we work about the day?

Keep one eye on the sky

What do we do while we go to bed?

Keep one eye on the sky

This will happen either way. Best to prepare rather than hope everyone will agree to not utilize all new tech to kill each other. Especially in a fractured global order and the… Interesting times.

The Ukraine war only sped up what was going to happen anyway.

It’s exactly what people were predicting future wars to look like… Minus Russia’s meat grinder.

If you enjoy it there is another similar book by the same author.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Defenders_(short_story)

Edit - looks like both are available in the standardebooks Phillip K Dick Short Stories ebook

As long as they can reliably differentiate between enemy troops and other things

That doesn’t matter because enemy troop is subjective to whoever is launching them.
