I’ve seen Raccoon around, but haven’t tried it out yet. Is there anything interesting which sets it apart from apps like Eternity (my current favourite), Boost, or Connect?
No one is here trying to “steal” users from a “competitor” project, we are talking about open source, no one is making profit of it.
Eternity is a great app and I really love its endless UI customization possibilities, no other Lemmy client is so advanced in that regard. Moreover, if you are accustomed to the design of Infinity, that’s another great plus for it you won’t find anywhere.
You can experiment with other alternatives and discover what they do better and worse and form your idea. Both projects are work in progress (Eternity clearly states it in its Readme, Raccoon is experimental too) so expect unfinished/unimplemented features and some bugs.

Yeah eternities customization is crazy it would take more than an hour to go through all the options.
