Omarchy is popular for the same fucking reason that Linux was never the desktop of choice until Windows literally forced people to use it.
It’s a good default configuration of a collection of applications, put together in a cohesive, but opinionated way, by a person actually using the product AND wanting to be productive with it.
It’s just a hyprland arch config bundle exactly the way Ubuntu is just a GNU Linux bundle. Sane people don’t want to spend weeks configuring the most basic shit.
