This week has been rough. Can barely sleep, my credit card is on fire, and my gentials are getting raw.

Taking my meds regulary, but think it’s time to reassess. In the meantime I just can laugh about my situation, makes it tolerable.

Is it weird my bipolar died down over the years? They rediagnosed me, and I was really bad manic and depressed at times, to dysthymic disorder which is mild bipolar. This meme is accurate to a T but these days I don’t get manic anymore I just get depressed.

Sometimes I wonder myself. Than these weeks, I’m reminded why. I know I was diagnosed type II at 17 and spent decades believing it was not real.

Until I had a horrible series of major life changes. Did drugs every night, for years. Whatever to get me feeling right. Mostly to sleep, shut up the static, or make me not want to feel despair. Started bleeding drug use into work, family functions. Everyday, every moment. I burned myself out hard.

Finally cut the drugs and I popped like an emotional balloon. Rapid cycling. Than got straighten out and on some decent prescribed medicine for awhile.

But I’m so fucking tired and frustrated. This gets worse every year. Things work less, I switch. My fear is I’ll finally crack.

Anyhow TMI, but I get the impression no one knows it’s just a bunch of “well maybe this?” “Let’s try this?”

I don’t fair know what you’re going through, but thanks to anxiety I’ve had one full nights sleep this week, so I offer solidarity on the insomnia front

Here’s hoping the weekend is chill and your next week goes better

That’s great! Not sleeping is the worst. It’s an amazing feeling to relax enough it just happens. Thanks!
