I’ve just been sorting out my PS1 collection. This was my best haul, just before the pandemic. £1.99 each from a charity shop (our equivalent of goodwill or thrift stores in the UK).

I went to that particular shop every other week for a year and that was all I saw there before or since. If you have the time and can be bothered you might get lucky. But honestly, it’s a total chore! In terms of opportunity cost it’s probably cheaper to buy from eBay or CEX!

Ironically I have nothing to show, as I’m between houses and all my stuff is elsewhere.

I guess I’ll just show my plat trophy from GTA IV that I’ve got a few months ago, after many years of playing this game.

To anybody interested or with extra funds, GameStop is doing a Buy 2 Get 1 free sale on all pre-owned games until the 4th of July. I ended up caving and getting the remakes of Dead Space and The Last of Us because why not play them again just with upgraded graphics.

This is my current PlayStation merch collection

These are the games I own cases for. I have a few PS1 games in one of those CD binders.

Truthfully, the most I’ve played of any game to the right of Sly Cooper on the top shelf is like, 20 minutes of Resistance. I got some of them from a friend who was trying to get some money at the time. The PS2 games are all ones that are dear to me.

I also have a wall of Devil May Cry stuff. It’s multiplatform these days, but mentioning it since it started on PlayStation.
