The biggest barrier I face in having fully vegan meals isn’t meat, it’s butter, lard, and other such flavorful fats. And flavor wise, I’m not okay with just using vegetable oil for everything. Neutral oil leads to neutral flavor. What oil do you guys add to your beans?
Coconut oil is probably my favorite, even with the more processed variety that removes most of the coconut flavor it’s still pretty tasty.
please consider switching from coconut oil, it’s horrendous for you. it’s almost all saturated fat and has been shown to raise LDL cholesterol, practically as bad as butter. something like olive oil is a better alternative.
