I swear, almost every time I die from something seemingly random, it’s because one of these bastards hit me with a spew mortar.
Being blindsided and then one shot is always fun.
There are way too many creatures that can kill you with 1 shot…
The ARC-12 Blitzer, I swear it was like a revelation, interrupts the spewer, basically cancelling them out!
So anyway, I’m a Blitzer-man now.
I almost always run AC as my support weapon so whenever I see them I blast them. Bonus if I have a teammate who covers me and keeps the chaff off me when I’m unloading into a group of spewers 100 meters away.
If they can make it more consistent so it doesn’t feel like I’m shocking the ground half the time, it’d be my main for bugs.
I’ve been running Blitzer the last week or so against bugs. It really is fantastic. Zap zap zap
Blitzer + Quasar + shield is fantastic
Sometimes, I will go down to Level 5 to avoid those archers as I don’t want to gear for them.
I go to level 5 to use wacky loadouts.
