While other vendors continually push out new handheld pc models, sticking similar internals into different shell designs and gradually bumping up RAM or the Processor, the Steam Deck just keeps selling like hot tasty cakes.
Depends on how you decide who gets the “throne”. Lots of people tout the higher frame rates and resolutions on other devices as an upgrade, even if you don’t.
I don’t really care for the track pads, personally, and would prefer the smaller size like the Ally. I like the larger display and detachable controllers on the Legion Go.
The “Steam-like” OSs like HoloISO, Chimera and Bazzite can deliver the SD software experience.
I still think Steam Deck is the “correct” answer based on price and customer support but I can see why some might prefer otherwise. Especially if you play one of those shitty games that only works on Windows.
