Idk, it’s kind of helpful to everyone with a brain because it’s just some dog shit, fact less, regurgitated shit, followed by a half dozen comrades posting sources. Which makes for good reference and lear ing material for everyone else. Half the shit I know is from tankies shitting on libs with massive source dumps. lol

  • Reminder that at least one of the weather balloons they shot down belonged to a ham radio club. One of my buddies is a hammy and the second he saw the balloon story he goes “that looks like a balloon ham radio clubs will send up. My club bought one years ago. They are like $500 to set up and launch.” lol. He called it day one.

  • I imagine it will have an air lock system. You wouldn’t pressurize/depressurize the whole track. Just small sections at the beginning and end of the ride. You would board, and then the train pulls forward to a section of track that seals off from both the station and the rest of the track. That section is vacuumed then doors to the vacuum sealed rail open. Train moves out.

Then when nearing the next station the reverse is done. Train pulls into a section that is then sealed and pressurized. Then pulls forward into the station where people get off/board.

Assuming they would vacuum and pressurize the whole rail is silly. That’s like if they decided to depressurize the whole space station every time someone had to do a space walk. That’s not how that happens. The train would take up most of the space in the air lock section so there wouldn’t be nearly as much air to remove. It would probably take less time that you would spend boarding a commercial flight.

  • Ask her if she would be cool with up and leaving if someone just came into her house, murdered her children, told her her house was theirs, and then when she was evicted by the police her neighbors were on their lawn asking her why she didn’t just leave peacefully in the first place.

  • I have only played coop styled PVE multiplayer video games for years. Monster Hunter games are my favorite. Just dudes and dudettes slaying dragons. Most of the time vocal communication isn’t necessary. Emojis and some signals at most. Most of the time when you are with people that know what they are doing you don’t need anything. It makes playing with random online so much better. And there’s not much animosity against other people. Like ok, sure, you can get a bad player here or there, and sometimes you might have to boot someone for being a little shit but generally speaking it’s pretty smooth sailing.

When I play against people there’s just so much extra stress. I just don’t like that kind of fight. I like to work with people not fight against them. Even if it’s team based pvp I don’t like it. You are still fighting against other people and in the end that leave some people feeling shitty or angry at other people. I don’t like that. Maybe it’s part of why I took to communism so quickly and readily. It’s not about competing against each other like shitty capitalism but working with each other to make things better. That just resonates with me in all things.
