On one hand, this is a cool technological development. On the other hand, given the location there are even odds on the technology just being used to massively downsize.

I am 90% sure that the Focus skill helps charge them faster, so might be worth squeezing into your switch axe builds.
In axe mode I always did the classic wild swing into flip-swing to get the charge buff, and then the circle circle attack in sword until I could discharge. I am not sure there is a more reliable way; the difficulty in landing that combo was a big reason I didn’t stick to switch axe, I will admit.
I have used it, but my main is insect glaive. What’s the question?
PoE2 isn’t out yet, I believe the beta is targeting June of this year. So presumably this guild would be for PoE1.
Definitely a bit of both. From what I am seeing on social media posts, a lot of those let go from ABK are developres working on the new survival game (that also got canned), artists, and customer service. They plan to bring in an outsourced contractor for customer service, and I would not be surprised at all if they plan to replace a bunch of the artists with AI.
The people who were cheerleading this merger as some giant win for video games and a net good thing will hopefully see why those of us who predicated that it would result in exactly this said so.
Oh who am I kidding, they will find another way to suck corporate boot. I already see people rationalizing this as “cutting the fat”. I hope that all those affected can find gainful employment, ideally in a [slightly less] exploitative industry.
Because China is socialist* and President Xi presonally oversees every decision that every company makes, meaning he has access to everyone who has given any of their data to Tencent. As they are the very important main character, China cares immensely what microtransactions they choose to purchase. Which they will use to uh…make more targeted microtransactions!
*When they do something bad. If they do something good it is because China is actually capitalist.
China is going to threaten the entire western way of life by plying vulnerable american politicians with waifus. They will withhold specific banner releases unless american politicians vote their way.
…I wish.
I live in a bit too cold of an area for growing figs, but actually having a fig tree sounds amazing. I love figs, but I only very rarely get any to use. Did you grow it yourself or was it already there?
Wait, what is the jellyfish one, that’s new to me.
Or like w/ real-time-strategy games: even if you leave the AI opponent just one unit left, it never gives up, and will spend days building back what it once had to kill you.
Even RTS bots are better than this now, most games since like SC2 the bots will surrender when it becomes unwinnable.
haven’t they been asking citizens abroad to come back to fight?
I drink both, does that make me some kind of filthy centrist?
Languages are the one thing I tend to be fairly good at, but I have also never studied any Afroasiatic languages before. Could be fun, even if a challenge. Assuming I am not getting too old for such undertakings.
I really need to try to learn Arabic one of these days, it seems like such a useful language and I have always been really interested. There’s too many languages I want to learn though and I might be hitting critical mass on that front.
Plus how can you go wrong with learning a language that has sayings like that.
True, I don’t think you can technically betray your toys. You just break them and move on.
“How China’s CRUMBLING chip sector spells the end of China’s economic BOOM!”
I took a tour around the comments (I know I know, youtube comment sections are the one thing worse than reddit) and…there are actually some people who are like “Yeah, that backfired pretty hard”.
The biggest cope I see is “Oh yeah well uh…they can’t do it profitably enough so it isn’t sustainable!”. Like R&D stopped the second they had a working chip and isn’t actively lowering the cost already.
As a point of order, Vox has 11M subscribers, the video has 5M views. Still ridiculous though.
There’s always a bizarrely high viewcount on things like this that make me a bit suspicious as to how legitimate they actually are though.
This is impressive but we absolutey need to consider at what cost. Nowhere in the headline do they even raise the question!
