Someone made a basic MMOrpg where you fight monsters and use the Digimon you have from your Vpet using a fan-made device called an A-Com/D-Com or something to transfer the ‘mon from the device to the PC/game. Gettin’ close.
Downloaded the offline version of the app before they remove it in the next couple months and stored my Rapidmon. Raising an Agumon and going for the virus form of Metal Greymon.
The DIM cards that distributed the ‘mons are basically modified SD cards made to look like USB sticks sorta’, so people managed to make a windows program and some AliExpress parts that connect an SD reader to a USB board and then you can pirate and backup/share/modify the Digimons if you want, which is cool as hell. Someone backed up all the files on Internet Archive.
Playing with my Digimon Vital Bracelet again. I wish Bandai didn’t neglect and abandon this thing and fuck it over like they do with all their kidult toys. It’s really fun.
The creator’s really good. His podcast, writings , etc. are all solid. Used to label his work explicitly ML on YouTube but I think he just calls it Marxist now to not alienate anyone.

Finally watching the second animated Spider-verse movie and them constantly saying “we gotta’ save the canon” and whatever is some of the cringeful shit ever to me. I cannot handle how fucking lame that concept for a film is. Might as well just say “we gotta’ save the brand.”
Really getting into Mork Borg via the Dark Fort like mini-dungeon crawl solo thing. Never really done TTRPG stuff because it all seemed so complicated but with this I feel like I can start small and just start slowly adding in more and more stuff from the core ruleset to it, filling it out and adding complexity and crafting my own dungeon and monster sets.
The “anti-censorship” consumerist blob on the internet sucks so hard. They have their own definitions and teleology of things to buttress their “I want to be pleased at all times” d-gen worldview without appearing as these needy, empty husks that they are.
