This is called lying. Politicians do this - usually when their mouths are open - to get elected and stay in power so they can make lots of money and influence, all while standing on your neck. And not having to ever so much as chip a fingernail.

It should be noted that Adobe can fuck right off, and computerized art is not the only kind of art. It is generous to even call it art. It’s still all called graphics in my opinion.
I think they’re worried.
Wow I go through 50GB in less than a day. Sometimes an hour.
I think relearn how to use a computer is a real stretch. Like colossal. Plenty of distros and DEs make it even easier than Windows, can look exactly like either, and are far less accident prone.
Very different questions though. Linux offers massive and plentiful advantages over both of those.
I am not disagreeing with the familiarity idea, though; change terrifies most people.
Actually back in the early days of Microsoft before the huge antitrust case, their deal was if you want any computers to license windows, you can’t offer anything except windows on any computers.
Bernie Sanders, who originally did run as an independent for the presidential election in 2016, had to turn to running as a democrat
And then he stepped down to officially endorse Hellary. I often wonder how many family members did they threaten to murder if he didn’t step down and back her.
Any deterrent is a good one. I don’t let others touch my tech the way Joey doesn’t share food.
Plus, fediverse clusters can break apart like tectonic plates and become continents if any serious barriers need to happen. It might happen over time if any instances start to specialize. Never know.
Yeah that’s what I’m saying. Certain things will be global, but in terms of repair availability etc. you follow Louis Rossman? He’s been trying to get right to repair in Congress and meanwhile the lobbyists keep pushing back and some manufacturers are starting to just plain go evil. The shit some of them are pulling - in many industries. So I’m just saying we will get the kind of advantages that just have to be included due to logistics, but anything that’s local regulation we are getting worse and worse in the U.S.A. companies are rapidly jumping onto new levels of evil and the FTC has only now got a woman with balls - pardon the expression - but they can only do so much and it’s not even enough.
Wrong direction, pal. Yeah five to ten years ago maybe. But iPhone is sucking and sucking worse by the goddamn hour nowadays. I’m pretty sure I am on my last Apple device. I’m pretty sure the day Steve Jobs died, the board of directors all did a collective hands-together-shuffle and said okay, boys, now we can dispense with this silly insistence on perfection, and start to rake in some easy lazy money by shoveling dung.
Meanwhile, Android started to get more reliable and better performing rather rapidly. There’s such a wide variety of options and all except the top top at far better prices. iPhone is stagnant. They JUST implemented the ability to place icons however you want - like Android has done since day 1, and it’s buggy as hell. They take away good features because they decide they don’t like how it looks. They haven’t made anything significantly better in a long time, and autocorrect is at this point just off the rails.
Find a nice Android device don’t switch.
I think lots of these years are more than a little dubious and people think differently without there being autism involved. I’d hope that these results are only considered in conjunction with other tests that confirm or refute the potential conclusions in order to find consistent patterns before any consideration of autism is entertained. But I don’t really know. There’s a lot of bias nowadays in science, unfortunately.
Wow! I think Louis Rossman will be happy about this, although the U.S.A. lobbyists are most likely trying to push in the opposite direction. I mean, we stand to benefit in that manufacturers are unlikely to make different models, but anything beyond the physical can be differentiated by region so they can continue to screw the consumer senseless in U.S.A. while the EU actually continues to do good for the consumers.
I would first decide like what kind of genre and type of personality you’re looking for. Then I’d Google “famous…. &&&s from history” like inventors, or military leaders, or doctors, etc. to find available choices. You could also search for “notorious” for people who aren’t totally good, or “unsung / uncredited” for people who did great achievement but never got credit or fame. You get the idea. Narrow down what you’d like first, because otherwise there’s seriously too much to choose from.
Yeah I have used Zorin a long time ago and I’ve seen it in recent times, too. It’s okay. It’s just never been the best available for me. But each user has their own needs.
Oh absolutely an SSD. Especially now they’re ridiculously cheap! My first ever one was a Samsung Evo 840 and it was crazy spendy. However, it is still in the same laptop which is an insanely resilient laptop. I think they didn’t market it much because it was too good lol.
But now, among my machines I have like two dozen SSDs. They’re so affordable and a lot of good brands.
I’d go with ElementaryOS though because it’s just so polished and elegant.
Hell, go back to the nineties when they were ready to hang Bill Clinton for having sex.
There was never any such ideas being part of it. It affected plantlife and bacteria as well. The idea of a soul to begin with is not even supported by science, although most people consider it to have some kind of validity, even if it’s not quite definable. But the relevant issue is that it’s all life period.
See… see this is the story content that belongs in the extended cut.
I have numerous machines and use several. On my main, KDE because of all the customization. Widgets, window styles, colors, themes etc. It’s really like exactly how I want for maximum efficiency and productivity.
I’ve got gnome on my hybrid notebook and my transformer pad because gnome with Wayland is amazingly compatible with touchscreen.
I have one machine running Elementary which has the Pantheon DE it’s kinda like Gnome with modifications.
And finally, I have an older system so just for efficiency, LXQt.
I do enjoy trying out different ones and especially more esoteric ones that I occasionally come across.
