I live in a medium sized southern town (US) and it’s already happening. We have one homeless shelter that I drive past every day. It’s mostly folks 50 and over. Several in wheelchairs. I’ve seen at least two folks in chairs with no legs. The crowd seems to get bigger every month. There’s a row of abandoned businesses across the street and lots of them set up tents there during the day. Some just sleep on the ground out in the open. One of the deepest red states btw.
Jokes on you, I have no amazon or linkedin accounts. And no smart tv. Just a dumb tv with a linux box for jellyfin. I actually can’t remember the last time I saw an ad on anything.
I do it for therapy. If I write it down, I don’t spend as much time thinking or obsessing over it. It also helps focus on what I really want to say instead of the jumbled mess that comes out when I open my mouth.

I was a teen in the early 90s. We had the best music. Lot’s of diversity among my friends but that was just normal so I didn’t really notice until the US got super racist and bigoted. Then I was like, “wow! were we all woke the whole time?” It was a better time. Also the local shrubbery was amazing, not like this new gas station garbage we have today. Most of us felt like we had a future. I feel so sorry for kids today, like, we failed you kiddos.

when I was 39, I dated someone that was 23. Never again. If I were to date again, 10 years older or younger would probably be my limit. Ideally, 5 years would probably be the best dating pool.

I already don’t care. haven’t watched a new show or movie in ages. I’m going through my 90’s tv collection right now and it’s fantastic.
I was married til I was 38 (now 48). Got divorced, kids were grown, so I dated. A LOT. I’ve come to the conclusion that if you are single after 40, you are a basket case. EVERYone that I dated was crazy. Fun, but crazy. I’m just too old for that now. lol. I’d rather read books and hang out with my cat. And yes, I realize people probably think I’m crazy too. #crazycatgentlemen
