Hamas literally ran politically as MODERATES. They’ve gone full jihadist. Without democratic process to keep the structure honest no party can be trusted.

It’s a circle, not a line. Far left and far right end up meeting in the middle.
Lemmy only has the information that I give it.
And it demands fairly little information.
I’ll take that in exchange for nobody privately owning as much of my shit as they can get their filthy hands on.
I recently got sick and decided to play through ff2 (iv). I’ve owned it since I was a kid but never beat it.
I finished it in less than 24 real world hours.
I was astonished at the difference being an adult makes with regard to gaming.
Is it wrong if I think your best performance was as yourself taking a bubble bath?
Yeah that’s a little unhinged
But nuance makes for boring memes though
THinK Of tHe mEmEs!?1!?
Manufacturers set minimum prices for their products. Generally, suggested retail price and minimum advertisable price.
Feels pretty real to my bank account.
As usual, the onion nails the satire.
It’s technically our second place and it’s bigger, newer, but needs a bit of updating.
It’s not everything we wanted and between closing costs, moving costs, the exhaustion of moving and adjusting to the move I don’t think we’re going to do it again before we’re priced out of the thing we want.
We were hedging against either a bigger market correction or a bigger price explosion. Instead we just got weird global stress and fatigue.
Arguing from empathy with no regard for facts is hopeless.
Arguing from facts with no regard for empathy is dangerous.
We need both.
We’re simultaneously the horse and the rider. We’re centaurs, lol. It would be like if centaurs invented cars. They could still run for fun or for exercise, but at some point they have to accept the car is better at certain things.
A reduction in economic opportunity will naturally be met with declining birthrates which we’re already seeing. People who aren’t thriving don’t want to have children. I don’t expect that to change, I expect it to accelerate as automation reduces opportunity further and further.
You don’t need genocide, you just need to wait 80 years.
Right, it’s just a front door lol. I never considered that was a thing.
His victory last time was entirely due to Hillary being a weak candidate and exploiting Cambridge Analytica’s illegal/immoral data scraping to tailor his message in swing regions.
While his base is more riled up this time, I’m pretty sure they are smaller, and many moderates that took a chance on him would never make that mistake again.
At least IMO. I guess we’ll see.
Pyramid scheme, not profit scheme.
Pyramid because the shape is a pyramid.
The first person, the one who sent out the original picture, received X books and sent none.
The next layer sent one book, and possibly received up to 36.
But those 36 each need 36 new people. It’s impossible. You’d hit the population of the earth in just a few rounds.
I think you mean it’s old.
Before audiences had all the tropes figured out simple stories were amazing. All the contrivances we add today we only add to make bad movies seem more interesting or complicated.
It’s why perfectly executed, simple stories are still compelling. But Oklahoma! certainly isn’t one of them.
Edit: oh, and some people love the music
The companies BUILD IN backdoors so that they can steal your data.
But because the backdoor is built in, they have to constantly monitor and update the security around it so that “bad guys” (they don’t think they are the bad guys) don’t get in.
They only do security updates to prevent liability iirc.
The whole thing stinks.
Note: I’m not a software developer just an outraged bystander with tech hobbies and techy friends, it’s possible this isn’t true.
But if you tell the customer how much things cost they won’t buy as much.
It’s just layer upon layer of dishonesty. The only time businesses get honest is when the government forces them to.
Nothing is nonstick like Teflon … But the VAST majority of cooking doesn’t require that level of nonstick, either.
Unless you have a French omelette addiction, you probably don’t need Teflon.
