That was always my opinion (and the sentiments I’ve seen elsewhere) too. Kinda like the Imjin war, but as a constantly occuring issue (in the MENA, against pagans in western and then eastern Europe, against the Cathars, etc). Because the west Euros certainly couldn’t just exist in peace tbh (but actually)
Honestly if any of the claims of the historical figure and his divinity are to be believed, it’s probably not so far from the truth. If he whipped the money changers and merchants in the temple, what would he do for those who have made a mockery of everything he allegedly stood for and desecrated (genocided) most of an entire continent?
Yep. Some people (actually, a whole lot of people) are just that terrible. And yes, I’m aware I’m genuinely advocating for the torment nexus (certain people need consequences)
They’re all burning in hell if it exists (and if it doesn’t, people in the future should create it just for them), but otherwise accurate.
