I had no idea that Nvidia was working on a foss driver. I wonder how it daily drives now?

It’s the default on lemmy. I guess allowing the user to change it would be fine but there is a reason for it

I actually haven’t found this to be true. And since it uses react native all the ui gets reskinned to be native android. It’s also always up to the user if they want to use it
