Can I ask which instance seemed like it’s been abandoned?

Just so I’m clear, after you checked for updates and ‘applying updates’ was completed, what version do you now have?

I’m on android still on ver 2308.20.17.42. When I click ‘check for updates’ in Artemis app, all I see is ‘up to date’. So how do I install the new update?

On android: Artemis, Connect and Infinity for Lemmy; Moshidon for Mastodon

I’m coming across spam bots on communities of several instances. So I’m thinking this is not an issue unique to Lemm.ee. Fortunately you can get around that by using the blocking features in the PWA, in the browser and in some of the native apps.
