Yeah, dang - thanks for pointing that out. I fixed it.
If I could add you myself I would. I’ll check back in a couple days to remind you. Every vote for seltzer counts.
Not me but my wife. If she is having trouble falling asleep I always remind her to play Futurama on her phone then she is out like a light in ~10 minutes.
I mean FREE is the best discount you can get sooo… YOINK!
Yep, and sometimes it can be triggered by “intending” to leave the site either by navigating away from the cart or moving your cursor towards the tab’s “X” button - you don’t always have to close out of the tab.

Both are possible depends on the context. For longer checkout experiences where email capture occurs (post-credit card entry, clicking into cart and completing shipping details, creating an account, or any similar step) a sales rep/ marketing associate might reach out. There are a lot of websites or apps that will detect a user leaving a page (exit intent) or closing a dialog and that may trigger additional discounts, as well… no email required in those cases.
That’s a solid additional tip there - mostly works in cases where an email is involved.
I tried cancelling Fubo.tv and they offered me a whole month free. I still get emails from them to restart the account for half the price for the first month now.
It’s up to the writer. Exactly. It’s also important to remember to pick one way of doing it and do it that way consistently throughout the work you are writing for.
“Now I am leaving Earth for no raisin!” but I specifically use “… for no raisin” in everyday conversation.
Yeah I definitely think it could work if it’s done the right way There are some much needed functionalities that Lemmy has yet to offer that will make it easier to stand up instances like this (easier customization, better cross-posting, better admin/mod tools, and clearer documentation). But the idea is great and it could work with some patience and hard work across various different players in the lemmy game.
