I had a relative who tried to do this to me and I had to point out Imane Khelif wasn’t even trans - not that it mattered if she was - after this relative insisted that she was “tall” and “built different”. I had to explain weight classes in boxing. This relative then brought up Riley Gaines; who I had to inform this swimmer tied for 5th and is just bitter and transphobic about that.
Not even a prompt or lead up to this conversation that formed organically to discover this, just a “hey did you hear about this olympic boxing incident?”.
