My first instinct was A, at the base of the neck. But now that I think about it I think I agree with this more. I think it could be argued that at the joint is where the neck really begins, and that the narrow part beneath that is still part of the body. These tricks have never worked for me, I wonder if that has some implication. I can see working clocks in dreams, both the digital and analog kinds. Reflections look normal. Hell, I’ve looked directly at myself (or a doppelganger?) in dreams before.

No. Of course not. They’re not reliable for anything. They don’t have any kind of database of facts and don’t know or attempt to know anything at all.

They’re just a more advanced version of your phone’s predictive text. All they do is try to figure out which words most likely go in what order as a response to the prompt. That’s it. There is no logic of any kind dictating what an LLM outputs.

So don’t even bother locking your front door then?

Pretty much because cops might walk in if there’s nothing physically stopping them but they’d have to do a bunch of paperwork if they smash my window to get in. In a world without cops I probably wouldn’t lock my doors.

Home computer? I wouldn’t even have a password. If someone has physical access to your PC there are ways for them to get what they want no matter how strong your password is. You just need it to be secure enough to prevent specific people you know have access from getting in. Family, friends, whatever. So basically the only risk is that you use a password that they know you use because you shared an account with them or something.
