I recommend Maui Jim. The lenses are better than all others and I’ve had a pair that I use daily since 2013. I did eventually replace the lenses about 2 years ago; their service department will do that for $100, and turn them back good as new. GL

Nobody’s mentioning the lossy sound quality of Bluetooth compared to wired. Bluetooth relies on codecs and compression in order to stream the data fast enough to listen uninterrupted.
Wired sets are lossless; and yes, some people can hear the difference.

This is a commendable goal; though it would still rely on good faith that a lot of these companies won’t have.
They’d rather screw the users anyway, sell the IP and let it rot within the maws of some holding company.
We’ll need some clauses that the tech cannot go inactive as it trades hands as well.
Further, some teeth will be needed toward feature deactivation, as there’s nothing stopping a company from yanking features and packaging it up as efficiencies made or product evolution.
