Don’t connect your freezers to the internet, or at least make it read only. At this point, any company that hasn’t taken appropriate measures after it’s happened a few times in a month should be held liable.

Only a cold blooded monster would do this
I was told by two different places that trying to change any of the other oils is more likely to cause a problem if there isn’t one to begin with. I wanted them to do a whole kit on the whole car, but it’s not a good idea according to then.
The syntax makes it difficult. Last sentence of the second paragraph is a good example. A lot of commas, unnecessary info and switches from I to You.
I don’t think it’s altogether bad, just poetic I guess and a bit hard to follow. It’s very stream of thought maybe? I wouldn’t change tho.
So I used to bully a kid in kindergarten. I don’t remember what I was doing at all or the kid even, but I do remember his dad confronting me in front of everyone.
He didn’t do anything mean, never raised his voice, all he did was calmly and repeatedly ask me why I was doing it and how it wasn’t nice and all that. Just a straight talking to. I never bullied anyone after that.
Kids are scared shitless of adults they don’t know, you don’t even have to scold them or be mean or anything.
That being said, how the school is handling it is the bigger problem here.
Bro, wtf is this? Most Jews aren’t in the money lending business for one, they aren’t greedy because of some obscure scripture rule, and most Christians definitely have no problem being greedy. I wish my “Christian” bank didn’t charge me interest lol.
This is actually Nazi level rhetoric. All religion sucks but Jewish people aren’t inherently “greedy” just because of a few lines in a book. Your comment is actual antisemitism, I highly suggest you educate yourself.

I hate the patent system so much. There’s already software that does this, all they did was add the word “live” in front. So now they own every live broadcast translation even though the techs been out to do it for a solid 2 years.

From another article:
The case centred on a July 5, 2024 assault by soldiers from the Force 100 unit on a Palestinian detainee from Gaza who was hospitalized with terrible injuries, including severe rectal damage—due to being stabbed in the rectum with a sharp object. Sde Teiman, located in the Negev desert near the Gaza border, has become synonymous with the torture and abuse of Palestinians captured during Israel’s assault on Gaza.
As the World Socialist Web Site reported, the prisoner “had been raped so violently that he had to be transferred to a hospital… for treatment for severe injury to his anus, a ruptured bowel, lung damage, and broken ribs that left him unable to walk.” The soldiers wore masks as they carried out a war crime, with the view of an overhead camera at the facility deliberately obscured by a group of soldiers holding up riot shields.

It feels a bit like cherry picking. Europe is much closer to China than the bigger polluters like NA and Australia. And a lot of China’s pollution is because of rampant consumerism in NA and Europe amongst others.
The wealth inequality is lower than two European states and very close to others below it. China is 78 on your list, Lithuania 79 and Italy is 91.
I feel like your comment didn’t give the full picture. China isn’t exactly the worst on those fronts, especially when you take into account the manufacturing they do for foreign markets (offsetting Europe’s and NAs own emmissions), while they are also one of the few actually making an effort to go green. State repression and the rest tho, ouf. And it’s true that the numbers can’t necessarily be trusted.

Japans laws are a lot more intense about this. The only reason this happened is because both companies were Japanese, and most of it was still thrown out.

Here is the Ginni link, it isn’t updated often but China isn’t exactly topping the list

There are a lot of things China does badly but not the ones you mentioned.

I think the parenting is very controversial and not altogether enforceable. I don’t know of anything that went to court over it, most of the patents are incredibly vague.

Fair enough, I didn’t really adress your point and I am angry at the church. I have a hard time dealing with them getting a soap box when they mostly spread hate.
I see them as using the AI debate to get new members or at least stop the current ones from leaving so quickly. I think it’s a worrisome situation, false equivalence or not.

Yet you are here defending and upvoting their propaganda article?
Let’s put a different spin on it, read the comments but imagine the articles was about the KKK coming out and saying AI sucks.
If an article starts with “the KKK says”, “Putin says” or “the church says”. The only valid response is to loudly declare they can go fuck themselves, not “wise words” and " I agree with the KKK decree". Especially if it’s clearly propaganda slop during a quite aggressive media campaign. Seriously, there’s two Pope articles hitting all a day.

That was my first thought. How does it do it? In another part of the videos, the bubbles are cut off by the screen so I’m calling bull for now.

My point is that one org doing something bad doesn’t vindicate the other. I’m not in the comments praising openais suicide machine but a lot of people here are praising the church’s rape machine just because it’s saying something they want to hear.
Fuck the Pope, the church doesn’t give a fuck about what’s good for society or what’s good for kids. This is propaganda from an evil organisation, nothing more. I think it’s healthy to call out the recent media campaign for what it is.

Elvis was smart to fake his own death

Take notes, always buy your km of fiber optique wire in cold hard cash.
Fair point but does controlling the actual temperature need to come into play in these cases? I guess it wasn’t an issue before so it was just a feature to add easily and all that.
