Wait this post isnt about evangelion
Usually these monarchies were formed in response to the crowns of europe colonizing any country without one. The formation of nations is really such an interesting topic.

Lmao these transcripts read like a bit “Please comrades relieve me of my post so i can disappear from the world and live out the rest of my days in peace and privacy”
“no its time for your Gen Sec Appointment”
Yea theres an element of this essay that has always felt wrong, which is what you said about how the proletariat doesnt benefit from imperialism. Every problem the working class has is directly tied to the existence of imperialism, and although there are upper stratas of the working class that get more of a buy in, its only relative to the massive towering wealth of the monopoly capitalists who are still sucking the blood out of society and humanity itself while completely immiserating the lives of the lower strata even in the US. On a long enough timeline, all upper strata workers and petty bourgeois either join an ever shrinking monopoly capitalist class or join the continually growing proletariat and theres only one solution to this that isnt the common immiseration of humanity as a whole.
People choose to believe because there is no communist alternative between the two parties. Building that communist alternative is the only solution.
Ur voting for 99% Hitler???
Yea it’s just weird that he walks it back and forth multiple times and the demand for an epistemological break is unnecessary. He’s essentially trying to explain the confusions people have about Marx, but it’s overcomplicated and impractical to actually pinpoint the exact epistemological point of inflection.
It’s pretty much all explained in the essay on over determination anyways, the young Marx old Marx stuff is just like extra fluff essentially.
There’s technically his writings on the young Marx old Marx split but I haven’t really gone through them in depth or found a really great reason to yet. I like althusser as a Marxist leninist theorist more than his philosophical musings.
His essay on over determination is essential imo to understand dialectical materialism in its entirety.
On the reproduction of capitalism: ideology and ideological state apparatuses is a really great read. You can look up the chapters as essays individually but I think collectively they shine a bright light on how to navigate ideological reproduction, class struggle and the superstructure in relation to each other. Ideology and ideological state apparatuses the essay in particular you would really like I think
Althusser’s on the reproduction of capitalism!
Wtf is this a real article lmao
Women amiritr
Lowkey an america skill issue. We have no idea what food is even supposed to taste like and prob millions have lived their whole lives and died not knowing even a fraction of what good food is like. The state of food in this country is genuinely a crime beyond human comprehension and this place should be obliterated
Holy fuck the hate in my heart is pure for the capitalist ruling class
A form of government in which the governing body has absolute, or almost absolute, control. Typically this control is maintained by force, and little heed is paid to public opinion or the judicial system.
This definition of “authoritarian” applies to everybody. And literally none of the leaders of the Soviet union or the dprk qualify as dictators according to your definition either lmfao.
Please, please read State and Revolution. There are a lot of confusions that you have that that reading would do a lot to clear up. You have no historical materialist understanding of the state and frankly I think a lot of the disagreements that you have are not in actuality disagreements on principles but of confusion on the topic.
Definition of homonationalism
Ah fuck yes excited to watch this, me and my haitian friend always are going over what news we can get out of the situation. The underlying nature of the class forces at play are incredibly dense and difficult to parse, and most of the narratives about whats happening are incredibly simplistic and/or naive.
