I had assume it was just over 100 and immediately thought of a relative on Long Island who lived to 106 and had a birth certificate so was wondering how the percentage in the USA found be zero.

Race doesn’t inherently but it just so happens that the people who the US justice system gives preferential treatment to are rich old white men. Wonder why that is? Could be that they are the ones who predominantly control the purse strings of the capitalistic society in which we live, and by extension will exert control over AI when it begins to harm them or their bottom line personally but not before hand.Edit: I put “man” in quotes to point out the joke. Someone who defines themselves as a woman or anything other than a man can’t have their gender contribute to the character of a man because they aren’t one. It wasn’t that deep.

30·4 months agoDeregulation hasn’t ever incrementally improved society. Especially in housing we need more regulation that prevents corporate ownership of homes, among other reforms. In this case I don’t think Schumer is anti deregulation because of money.

From what I understand tariffs were blocked by a lower court and the appeals court immediately reinstated them. I also keep seeing buried in the copy that they were technically only blocked from being collected from two companies that brought the suit and not actually blanket ruled illegal.
