Evolutionarily, most mammals are color blind. Old world primates duplicated one corn and changed it a bit so we have three. Some lost one of them and so they are color blind. Since this is on the Y chromosome, it’s much more common in males. Other vertebrates have 4 cones that are much more evenly distributed but early mammals were nocturnal so there was no need in color vision.

This doesn’t answer which kind of human color blindness is closer to what most mammals see but it’s not too different either way. Thanks!

Either way, that’s not what I meant to say. People say that the brightness of the star and the distance (see habitable zone) and the main biological atom (in our case cabin) and the combination of DNA and RNA are all essential. Changing just one aspect will have devastating effects and make life impossible. But what if Red Dwarfs have a different habitable zone if you use other main atoms and molecules? Maybe there are other energy sources so the star isn’t that important anyway.

Ein Beispiel wo Regeln geändert wurden sind Streiks. Mittlerweile sind sie gezähmt und Teil des Regelwerks, aber die ersten Streiks waren wild, aber was willst du machen, wenn deine Angestellten geschlossen nicht kommen? Du kannst nicht alle feuern, dann stehst du auch dumm da.

Anderes Beispiel: früher haben die Leute 12 Stunden am Tag gearbeitet, dann 10 dann 8. den letzten Schritt feiern wir am 1. Mai. Das war ein richtiger Aufstand, die Haymarket Afairs oder so. Der Podcast “Geschichte der kommenden Welten” hat da eine gute Folge zu. Ich meine, der erste Schritt wurde erkämpft indem die Leute einfach geschlossen früher gegangen sind. Was willst du dagegen machen.

Dass wir beim 8 Stunden Tag stehen geblieben sind und selbst das in Frage gestellt wird, liegt daran, dass Gewerkschaften keine wirkliche Gegenmacht mehr darstellen, sondern Teil der Bürokratie geworden sind.
