I find sitting is worse with the problem. Pressing on the taint area helps to get the rest out.

4·3 days agoWhen we came through there coming back from a camping trip in northern/central PA we stopped at the highway. It was stunning the dedication of folks to draw that many penises across that much area. Every tiny little spot that would fit one, they drew one. Not saying I liked it, just that it showed dedication for sure.

Fedora with KDE is the bees knees. I used Pop OS! for a while but the slow update cycle sucked. I also work with Redhat a lot, and moving to Fedora felt more familiar. All the multiple computers in my home run it, and have for years fine. Minor problems here and there. My main PC has been running it since 42 and now 44, no problems upgrading when it was time.
I have a few PCs running with Nvidia GPUs, you do need to do a few extra steps for the drivers but no problems otherwise.
It’s really a choice on what you prefer, and I just find Fedora better.

Casual Conversation@piefed.social•What things do you look for/check when shopping for a used car?English
5·2 months agoAlong with what others said, look under at the wheels where the transmission or differential connect to the wheel. There is a rubber boot, make sure they’re not cracked or leaking grease.
Check around the vehicle at the seams of where the body panels and doors meet, the headlights. You’re looking for anything that looks like the segments aren’t spaced the same. Mainly you’re checking for previous damage that may have been repaired. If you see stuff not spaced evenly it could mean it was in a collision at one point. Might not be a problem but could mean damage like the frame is bent which can cause problems.
Smell the inside carpets, maybe if you can make them slightly moist, see if it smells musty or look for rust under the seats where the metal is. Could be flood damage. This can lead to weird electrical problems for example and other problems like odors in humidity.
Pull the carpet up in the trunk, check if it has the jack and spare tire, and check if any water accumulating in there.
EDIT: Also check the ceiling inside along the top, look for stains that could indicate a leaking roof.

Been seeing this sentiment lately, and it’s silly. At least in the decades I’ve been around, people only vote the lesser evil about half the time. What we get is the “lesser” evil fixing and/or improving things, then the other party wins and undoes it all, rinse and repeat. You’d only actually have a point if it was consistently people voting the lesser which they’re not. This is just propaganda to demotivate folks from voting and making them feel like it’s hopeless so nothing changes for the folks that don’t want it to.
