Ok, from what I understand now, a magazine can follow tags or keywords, which will populate the magazine. So no matter where in the fediverse something is posted, it will show up in the magazine.

But then if the instance hosting the magazine goes down YEAH OK I GET IT NOW

Reading this and trying to visualize the big picture, I think this is where kbin’s magazine is going to win out in the end

Frigate is great if you want unreliable human and object detection. Blue Iris is on windows so that is an automatic DQ. Motioneye just works.

So there is no way to horizontally scale?

Using the phone as a beacon drains battery like stupid in my case. My ble ibeacons are tied to HA, I don’t use the phone for any kind of beacon tx or rx.

I wonder if you can turn off the mastodon part because I don’t want or need it. But the magazines on kbin are really cool.
