25·1 year agoI prefer using DDG or Firefox, however my device I lower end and I find that Brave works best on it.
But I use DDG for my search engine.

I’m having the opposite experience. I filter by “all” and I am flooded with NSFW content. Been blocking individual communities, but I don’t know if I can just block the lemmynsfw instance(I’m using Jerboa).
1·1 year agoI was just looking at getting a Steam Deck the other day. I love my Switch, but the games I WANT to play aren’t on the system(I don’t own a PC).
1·1 year agoIs this possible to do though the app? I saw a regional instance list in another thread and wanted to join it, however whenever I type in Washington@lemmy.world nothing shows up. Do I need to add the myinstance/c/ ahead of it?
Just joined lemmy today and am using the Jerboa app. It took me a bit to get logged in, the “instances” confused me. But I was able to customize my feed to look like what it used to on RiF(been using close to 10 years).
I second Jerboa for android users who were comfortable on RiF
