They were forced to under Swiss law. They usually appeal these things in court, but this order was given in a way, where it couldn’t be appealed. They did everything they could here, but in the end, they still have to follow legal obligations of their jurisdiction.
I don’t think the whole company is terrible, but fuck Andy Yen. If there’s a big enough outrage, we might get him to step down.
