Triumphal arches are really popular amongst fascist/imperialist regimes, popularized by the Romans. Your armies and commander come back from defeating and subjugating some far off people, and march through the triumphal arches in the capital. The only one I can think of that isn’t is Laos’s, and that was primarily a dunk on France.
