The DNC to be frank is fucking clueless. It only wants money, it chose Hillary and Kamala because of financial incentive. But also within the party are the only individuals willing and openly stating how election funding needs to change.
Obama tries to get healthcare. Biden tries to get infrastructure. Both revive a struggling economy. Both had an America only mentality and as much as people wanna try to sell you that they were warmongers or imperialists, as presidents they were very domestic focused. Most international policy and issue came to their feet or existed before them.
Most women, people of color and half decent politicians are Democrats.
But this mentality that Dem bad, is what loses elections every time because nobody will discuss success within the party. They focus on the bad. So the establishment which chases money and decides the DNC’s move relies on data that shows a wishy washy base that will turn at the drop of the hat and is endlessly unsatisfied inside a broken system, and so they head to corporate interests.
It’s a carrot on the stick game. But instead of being a mother fucker and snatching that carrot out of the air, which people can do historically, leftists and liberals and Dem voters piss their fuckin pants and kick sand and cry and don’t vote next election, or consider a candidate unworthy for not being perfect or fitting the mould.
Meanwhile Republicans get a consistent vote and corporate support. Few fractions in party goals. Trucking forward continuously. Because their voters are easier to satisfy and they don’t really have to rely on the majority to vote, they actually just need them to note vote. So what do they do? “Dem bad” every election. And you help that by not having the confidence to express a neutral opinion and see both good and bad and the cause and effect.
