Good clip. I’ve visited a couple countries with a large Buddhist population and never saw anything that was just the Buddha’s head. It’s often considered offensive for both religious and historical reasons the clip mentions. Yet you’ll see Buddha head cups in every tacky retail store in the United States. Mass produced and commodified versions of past plunder are the cultural norm.
