        The site is politically left-wing. France Info calls it a “far-left media”, while Libération questions this designation after using it. The founder and editor-in-chief of the media, Ivan du Roy, specifies that readership surveys place it between the radical left and more centrist positions. Basta! publishes articles relating to alter-globalization, anti-capitalism, ecology and feminism.

            The news is in french language and tagged in french. Are you french ?

            It is a world news, it happen in USA not in Europe

            As inlandempire said, you can filter post by keywords. You can also filter our french speaking communities.

            I recommand creating a piefed account instead of lemmy. It is in beta but there lot cool stuff that improve user experience. There is a better thread management with filter by keywords, people, instance…and topic…some app can filter by words.

                Si tu suivais cette communauté tu verrais que les sujets sont suffisamment diversifiés et bien loin du spam de news américaines, encore une fois, tu peux filtrer des mots clefs pour ne pas voir certains sujets et customiser ton expérience sur Lemmy
