Hey do anybody know where you get a tv that supports 4k and does not have that locked up smarttv shit?

If there are none, does anybody know a tv that boots fast(less than 30 seconds) and displays an hdmi input by default without the need to choose the input from a menu.

    I have a C2 and fuck LG.

    The display is beautiful once you color calibrate and remove all the bullshit settings for AI audio and video.

    HOWEVER.

    The fucking cunts advertised it as apple airplay compliant. It worked seamlessly with airplay when I got it.

    Then they updated the thing without asking me via an internet pushed firmware update that not only changed the IPs for the ad content they force on the home page which I blocked… THEY ALSO THEN WITHOUT ANNOUNCEMENT CHANGED IT SO YOU CANNOT USE AIPLAY WITHOUT THE PHONE HAVING THEIR SHIT APP, WHILE SIGNED IN TO THEIR SHIT APP, SYNCED TO YOUR DEVICE.

    Fuck. That. Shit.
