    Would the EU even accept a customs union without an additional agreement for free movement of people? The latter would be incredibly unpopular here.

      Pretty easy to get around this tho, just dress up in brown paper and mail yourself to the continent - technically at that point you’re a package

      Genuinely curious, the world has massively changed in the past 6 months. Perspectives could have changed, is movement with the EU as bad as isolation from even the US?
