Dude, calm down. Lemmy is nothing like Reddit was. r/canada was a right wing cesspool of bots and brigades. c/canada tends to be more centrist. There are half a dozen far right agitators who try to get in early and downvote any leftist comments but they are few and weak. There are a few angry leftists and tankies but their numbers are also limited and their influence weak. Both groups slink back into the shadows when challenged effectively and resort to hurling impotent downvotes at every comment they don’t like.
Seems like the group that’s hurling impotent downvotes at every comment they don’t like and that’s not able to engage in discussion are the enlightened centrists here running around downvoting news about rampant support for fascists in Canada.
