I mean, I would do the same if I ran a comedy show for over a decade. It’s always very obvious when the Simpsons write an episode based on research in fan sites/wikis as well, as suddenly obscure plot points from the past are brought up lol
Eiichiro Oda, creator of One Piece, does the same to keep track of all the lore.
GRR Martin(overrated imo) used to have a dude he’d check things with.
It must be hard for authors to keep track of what actually happened because I’m sure there are dozens or even hundreds of plotlines and side stories which they thought about while writing or even started writing before axing the idea and never made it into the story.
Keeping track of what did and didn’t officially make it into the story must be extra difficult than readers just remembering what they read.
Did the guy die and that’s why he gave up writing?
Martin is infamous for writing slowly and wishing for his books to be adapted for TV/movies. I don’t think the guy died I think Martin doesn’t really have a good work ethic and has limited motivation to actually finish.
And the pressure and expectations are insane
Expectations, yeah, he did that himself. Pressure less so because he very obviously can get away without doing anything.
No, hes absurdly lazy and undisciplined.
He doesn’t owe you anything
Never said he did, commenting on his work ethic.
I hope they don’t forget that Butters has a tattoo of my face on his back.
