From the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Western leftists have invoked “peace” as a slogan — as if peace were not already at the heart of every Ukrainian’s daily prayer. They warn the world not to “provoke” the Kremlin, as if Ukraine’s restraint could halt Russian missiles. Not knowing such elementary information and then still being active in a group like this isn’t really credible.
It’s not as elementary information as you think it is. You really overestimate how on top of international politics the general populace of each individual country is. Knowing the name of Feijóo is way more relevant to a Spaniard than the name of a leftist UK party member or the other dude from Greece.
Also, as mentioned in a further comment, I did recognise the names but I didn’t make the effort to remember who they were exactly.
