I got a few pirates but this is the one I found quickest.

These are actually parallel view not cross view right? I usually have an easier time focusing on cross view because my eyes naturally want to focus close when my eyes are crossed, but going parallel my eyes keep wanting to focus far away so it takes a while for them to focus in close.

This was a fun one. I had to hold my phone far away from my face to get the top of the image to not be blurry but once I did it was a great cross view. Very dynamic. Good shot!

I’ve been noticing the vertical alignment of your images is wonky enough to make it hard for me to see in stereo

Yeah that’s something to do with me being a total noob. You gotta keep the camera from pointing down or up and the adapter needs to stay horizontal. There’s also the mirror glueing that is actually a 1mm thick sticky tape which adds a slight misalignment and then there’s the actual print which doesn’t actually print exactly as designed. I need to play with the stereo maker to see what of those things are the worse offenders. Definitely pointing up/down has to be the worse, but the others do play a part.

I think good cropping and framing makes a big difference to the seeing. But I presume your intention is to get good results right off the camera.

Yeah just trying to get something usable right off. The 3D stereograph maker software is pretty cool for final view.

Yeah right now on my design I’m trying to reduce the center line and maximize usable pixel width such that in the editor you can hopefully see the same background on both images before crop to maximize the view.
