Normies can be reached and memes help. I’ve already gotten some “maybe we were too auick to judge China” reactions when I point out they execute child molesters.

Your comment got removed for misinformation/sinophobia. It says so right in the modlog. It’s all public information. Why act glib instead of responding directly to the point?
Wow that’s the first time I and everyone else here have heard about this thing, really crazy that it happened. Wild that noone talks about it. I did a little bit of digging though, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on what this person has to say about it
I think you yourself should ask the uyghurs what they think of the chinese government.
There’s always some dumbass like you that brings up this long-debunked talking point that there’s nothing left to say. Here you go, some actual information for you to ignore I know you won’t read it though. You types never do. Go back to your echo chamber and complain about us being propagandised because we read stuff and don’t just regurgitate what we got told in AP history and skimmed through a wikipedia article edited by 7 nazis. Here’s someone else for you to ignore. Now go comment about how we’re brainwashed because we don’t take you and your decade-old debunked propaganda seriously. A third person to ignore
I’m mainly pointing you towards these posts to make you understand why noone will take you seriously. It’s because what you’re saying is proven untrue - And also none of what you’re saying is new. It’s been talked to death. All the information is available out there, we’ve read it. You haven’t, you’ve skimmed a newspaper article citing a report citing an unnamed “expert” who interviewed an anonymous source. Whenever we actually go to first-hand sources the flimsyness of the claims becomes apparent.
Also read up on Adrian Zenz.
Ahh the classic “neither beijing nor washington, but actually yes washington”
“Guys you see everything in black and white, you don’t understand the world is nuanced! There’s actually no good guys! This is the nuanced worldview, the one where we boil things down to ‘good’ and ‘bad’ guys, instead of looking at how nations materially impact the world and what their long-term goals are.”
China isn’t a “good guy”. China is an everchanging political entity made up of its constituent masses. The reason people on this site generally are positively inclined towards china is
This is a thread specifically to post memes and you’re starting a struggle session. I’d have removed your comment too.
Why the fuck would you remove an actual helpful comment refuting the dumbass lib? The comment you are saying you would remove is more helpful than a thousand shitty memes. You clearly need to touch grass.
Strugglesessions aren’t just when you respond to someone you disagree with.
Breaking with the intentions OOP has for a thread is not against any of the rules of the site.
If my comment has broken a site or comm rule, then it should be removed.
Me: hey, post memes everyone! most posters: hey how about rehashing a subject that was done to death in the 1970s?
It isn’t a struggle session when a dipshit liberal comes in trying to derail the thread and people post a ton of correct information refuting their glib statement. Fuckin A it’s literally in the spirit of THIS POST because the point is agitprop. Chill and let people rip them to shreds. Memes are not going to change the world get over yourself.
Yeah, that’s how it goes sometimes. It would probably have been a good idea to choose a different meme if you didn’t want a bunch of pedants to be pedantic. It’s a public forum and discussions can go in all sorts of directions one didn’t expect from the outset. You did get a bunch of people to post memes though, if I were you I’d focus on and engage with that, rather than be sour your post got “the wrong kind” of interaction.
I support the people’s right to correct misinformation and sinophobia where ever it may appear.
