If their emissions start trending downwards then yes, fantastic, if they continue as they currently are blasting off like a rocket and overtaking the USA and EU by the end of 2030 then no, awful, garbage

It’s kind of like someone farted in a room and no one wants to fess up and everyone’s pointing a finger at one another … But to be honest they all just shit them pants simultaneously.

      Happy happy joy joy

For me it’s like all the western nations have reduced the amount of farting they do because the oxygen in the room is rapidly depleting while China/India massively increase the amount of farting they do not giving a shit

China especially egregiously building 500 coal power plants, planning to fart louder and harder than 99% of the room and then expecting no one to say anything

Have you not seen a population density map? It’s amazing…? almost every problem in the world!? If you just put a population density map … bam it’s like the same thing.

How is this possible, I said I responded here: https://aussie.zone/post/31299070/22304750

            See this: https://ourworldindata.org/explorers/co2?time=1998..2024&country=CHN~USA~IND~European+Union+(28)~IDN~PAK~NGA&hideControls=false&Gas+or+Warming=CO₂&Accounting=Territorial&Fuel+or+Land+Use+Change=All+fossil+emissions&Count=Per+country

This is the most populated countries in the world… notice the difference in co2 emissions ?

Discussion of climate, how it is changing, activism around that, the politics, and the energy systems change we need in order to stabilize things.

As a starting point, the burning of fossil fuels, and to a lesser extent deforestation and release of methane are responsible for the warming in recent decades: Graph of temperature as observed with significant warming, and simulated without added greenhouse gases and other anthropogentic changes, which shows no significant warming

How much each change to the atmosphere has warmed the world: IPCC AR6 Figure 2 - Thee bar charts: first chart: how much each gas has warmed the world. About 1C of total warming. Second chart: about 1.5C of total warming from well-mixed greenhouse gases, offset by 0.4C of cooling from aerosols and negligible influence from changes to solar output, volcanoes, and internal variability. Third chart: about 1.25C of warming from CO2, 0.5C from methane, and a bunch more in small quantities from other gases. About 0.5C of cooling with large error bars from SO2.

Recommended actions to cut greenhouse gas emissions in the near future:
