The US is by far the most violent country. I don’t care if rich, powerful perpetrator’s of violence get some of their own medicine. Not sure how that makes me a sad person but like you said, it sounds like that to you.

It really depends what you call success though. Making a small fraction of people rich while exploiting masses all around the world?
It probably is hard to see Cuba and DPRK as winners but both have withstood decades of war against the USA. That is more than any other countries can claim. It also would have been impossible under capitalism. Then again the US would probably not do war against them if they turned capitalist.

Corruption is a problem, but I am convinced this is the problem. Capitalism simply is a deadend.
